Foreign companies lose money in India to rules they don't know exist.

We find it, fix it, and keep it fixed. We run India tax and compliance for foreign companies — so you can sell here, get paid here and stay compliant here without building a finance team in India.

Most of our clients did not come looking for an Indian accountant. They came because something had already gone wrong: a customer deducted a fifth of an invoice, a payment was frozen behind two documents nobody had heard of, or an investor's diligence asked a question about foreign tax registrations that nobody could answer.

Three problems, in order of how often we see them

Your Indian customer is deducting tax from every invoice Usually 20.8%, often more than is actually owed, and sometimes on income India cannot tax at all. Three documents fix the next invoice. The Supreme Court settled the underlying question in your favour in May 2026 — a lot of Indian finance teams have not caught up. You sell subscriptions to Indian customers and never registered for GST Foreign digital sellers have a registration obligation with no revenue threshold — it starts at the first sale. If you have been selling for a while without registering, there is a way to fix it that costs materially less than waiting to be found. You are entering India and want it done once, properly Entity, registrations, the compliance calendar, and the parts of importing into India that catch people out — origin documentation, certification, valuation.

Answers to the questions people actually ask

Everything we know, published. If you can solve your problem by reading these and never contact us, that is a fine outcome — it is also how you will know whether we are worth talking to.

Why did my Indian customer deduct 20% tax from my invoice? Section 195, what the rate should actually be, and why 21.84% is quoted far more often than it applies.

Who we are

Two people, which is the point. You get the person who does the work, not an account manager who relays questions to someone you never meet.

The practice is led by a chartered accountant with forty years of Indian practice, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India holding a Certificate of Practice. Alongside him, Pratham Sharma builds the systems — the tracking, the calendars and the tooling that mean a deadline is never missed because somebody forgot.

What we do not do

We do not audit, and we do not represent you in litigation. Both need independence or specialisation we would be pretending at. When you need either, we will tell you and introduce you to someone who does it properly.

Getting in touch

Email us with what has happened — an invoice, a notice, a question your accountant could not answer. We will tell you what we think is going on and what it would take to fix, and we do not charge for that.
